I'm amending my review because he came again this year (Dec 2023), fitting me in at such short notice him having worked the weekend already to get to his customers, so during a very busy schedule for him in the run up to Xmas.
He serviced my boiler, and also fitted an additional dual fuel kickspace heater in my kitchen (the best present I could have wished for because it had been freezing in there). My house now has an even temperature everywhere and comes on with the central heating. Best decision of the year!
Steve, and his apprentice, did an excellent job, showed me how to use the controls, helped put stuff back in the garage, left everything tidy, and provided a great all round customer service.
I can't highly recommend them enough.

Been using Steve for our plumbing since we bought our house in York. He renovated our bathroom and has just installed a new boiler at very short notice, on a Sunday, after the old one packed in in the middle of winter. The quality of his work is absolutely excellent. He is genuine, trustworthy and he leaves the work area spotless. Can't recommend him highly enough.

The Boiler Doctor was amazing for us when we had a leak.   We were desperate to find someone as we were going to Center Parcs and had my niece coming in to dog sit the house and didn’t want to leave her the hassle.   Steve came promptly,  found the problem was a part missing/broken.  He rushed to the plumbers merchants late Friday afternoon and fixed the boiler cleaning up after him and called is to reassure us the job was complete. A job well done.  Many thanks.
