I did something I never thought I would do!
Something beyond my level of comfort
And if I am honest I was unprepared both physically and mentally
I was in the car with matt (a great friend who is always overprepared complete opposites 😲🤣)
You do realise we are about to climb one of the biggest mountains in the uk 😲😲
I had no idea
Oh and to add pressure it was through the night
This was an event with over 150 men led up the mountain by ex special forces so we wasn't going bareback
11.30 came and we set off by 12.00 I was tired, legs hurting, cold,
But one step I front of the other we marched on
It rained the whole way it was the hardest physical and mental challenge I have ever done
After we reached the top and got back to the bottom
It felt AMAZING
at multiple points along that whole day I could of backed out, given up, not done what I said I would do
But
By doing the hard things and pushing forward I got the reward
In fact I have planned to do it again!!
What I learned
Doing hard things = greatest rewards
How do you know you don't like it if you don't try!
All this from a doctor of boilers who cares
